Xinjiang in numbers

Urumqi

The collection of cultural relics is rich and unique, with silk wool cotton and linen fabrics, a variety of text documents, slips, wood carvings in the Jin and Tang Dynasties, clay figurines and figures on paper and silk, flower and bird paintings are rare in the mainland, and there is also a special mummy exhibition hall here.

In addition to the mummies that are hot on the Internet, the three treasures of the town hall here are also worth seeing: Fuxi Nuwa Crossing, this Tang Dynasty silk painting, it is 221.5 cm high, 105.5 cm wide at the top and 80.9 cm wide at the bottom. A closer look at this painting not only makes people intoxicated.

Five-star Dongfang Li Chinese brocade, a brocade arm guard of the Han Dynasty, is known as a national first-class cultural relic. Its uniqueness lies not only in its exquisite craftsmanship and gorgeous patterns, but also in the history and culture behind it.

Fortunately, my sleep was not affected, and the night was until dawn. After leaving the station, I galloped all the way to the hotel.

Altay

The Altay region is rich in tourist resources such as alpine forests, river valley scenery, lake hot springs, rock paintings and rock carvings, mainly including Kanas, Keketuohai and other scenic areas. It is a place where Xinjiang grassland history and culture converge. There are a large number of rock carvings, rock paintings, cave paintings, deer stones, carved stone people and other grassland historical and cultural heritage. It is known as the "Thousand Miles Rock Painting Promenade".

General Mountain Ski Resort, rich in wild snow resources, large amounts of snow, and powder snow, has 27 ski runs, of which the longest ski run in Xinjiang, "Golden Avenue", is located in General Mountain Ski Resort. It is the closest and most convenient ski resort to the city, and there is an insatiable sunset on the top of the mountain every day. The slightly tipsy blues time and the pink sky on the horizon make it "the most beautiful sunset" ski resort.

This season, most of us came to Altay for skiing, and so did we, but temporarily changed direction and started a city roaming in Altay, only going to General Mountain to watch the sunset (you can buy tickets separately).
